Anthony Godinez
"Passion for all Things Design"

Anthony Godinez brings more than two decades of expertise in weddings and special events, with experience spanning major markets along the East Coast. Originally from a small town in “Almost Heaven” West Virginia, Anthony’s creative foundation in visual art led him to launch a boutique event planning and production company in 2003.

In 2009, he took a leap of faith and relocated to New York City, diving full-time into the special events world as a floral designer with a long-established brand. Over the course of his career, Anthony played a key role in cultivating and growing four floral shops in Manhattan, helping shape them into successful, culturally relevant names. His work has graced nearly every iconic venue in New York—from the prestigious Lotte New York Palace to Liberty Island itself—and he has designed for A-list celebrities, luxury brands, and high-profile occasions. His portfolio also extends beyond weddings, including large-scale Christmas installations and even wardrobe work for the legendary Radio City Music Hall.
Anthony’s creative passions extend into costume and stage design. He is known for his dramatic feathered costumes crafted for entertainers and showgirls—pieces that have won awards, lit up runways across the globe, and appeared on television.

With a reputation for ingenuity, quick problem-solving, and impeccable attention to detail, Anthony has earned the affectionate title of “MacGyver of Weddings.” Whether with florals, décor, or a glue gun and duct tape, he can engineer solutions that turn vision into reality.

In the summer of 2024, Anthony relocated to Philadelphia, where he now calls Germantown home. He joined the Xtraordinary Events team as Director of Floral Production and Design, bringing with him a flair for the dramatic, a collaborative spirit, and a deep commitment to creating unforgettable experiences.
